This is the Disney Food Blog, so obviously we LOVE Disney restaurants. However, that doesn’t mean we wouldn’t change any of them…

Magic Kingdom is home to some iconic Disney restaurants, including some we adore. With that said, there is ONE Magic Kingdom restaurant that we have some beef with. The Diamond Horseshoe has us feeling a certain type of way, and it’s not good.

If you’re a Disney fan, it’s pretty inevitable that you’ll eventually have a collection of unnecessary souvenirs.

From random popcorn buckets that collect dust on the top of our fridge to weirdly shaped sippers that we don’t use because they’re impossible to wash, we often fall victim to the “oh it’s so cute” moment in the parks and then scratch our heads when we get home, wondering what we were thinking. We’re getting “closer and closer every day” to the grand opening of Disney’s newest ride, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. In fact, dare we say, the ride is “Almost There?” 😀

We’ve learned so much about the ride, including what its story will be like, what kind of music it will have, and even what the Tiana animatronic will look like (and she looks INCREDIBLE). We’ve been following how the red stone of Splash Mountain was converted into greenery with white flowers, and we’ve watched some ride testing. But there’s one key thing we don’t hear a lot of folks talking about: the queue.

We never thought we’d get into the whole popcorn bucket thing at Disney Parks, but here we are.

Yes, we stood in long lines THE FIRST TIME that Figment Popcorn Bucket became available in EPCOT. We lost our MINDS when we saw that Chip ‘n’ Dale Easter Popcorn Bucket (it’s just TOO cute). That pretty pink Valentine’s Day Popcorn Bucket? Yep, WE BOUGHT IT. So we get the hype. Well, now we’ve got a new popcorn bucket to get hyped about.

Calling allStar Warsfans!

The ultimate fan celebration is coming up at Disneyland soon — Season of the Force kicks off on April 5th and runs all the way through June 2nd. The event will bring exciting new experiences to Disneyland and we just got a ton of new details about it!

Change is inevitable, especially at the Disney Parks. In fact, Disney just announced a pretty big one in anticipation of abrand-new ride opening later this year!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open later this year at both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom and both parks have been busy making changes to accommodate the new ride. Over at Disneyland, the park has already made adjustments to one land to better fit The Princess and the Frog theming and now it will be closing an entire land to add NEW The Princess and the Frog shops! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is replacing Splash Mountain in both Disney World and Disneyland, and we’ve been watching the construction on both coasts for a while now. But along with the updates to the ride, it looks like Disneyland is going to get some new shops!

Have you heard about Disney’s Pixar Fest?

It’s a special celebration celebrating ALL things Pixar, and it’s returning to Disneyland Resort SOON. The event will feature a new daytime parade in Disney California Adventure, plus the nighttime show “Together Forever — A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” will return to Disneyland with NEW scenes. There will be fun new decorations, special food, and more. However, there will also be an exclusive NEW souvenir! Hint: it’s a popcorn bucket!
